The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation is a non-profit founded by Billy and Cal Ripken Jr. in honor of their father that offers transformational youth programs through sport and educational life skills curriculum. The foundation aims to serve underprivileged youth in at-risk communities across the United States. Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation approached R2i to redesign and build both their foundation site as well as customer portal to elevate the organization’s online brand and provide a powerful resource center that enables partner youth-service organizations to consume a wealth of curriculum material.
R2i rearchitected the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation website to create a seamless customer experience by leveraging Acquia Drupal, consolidating the site with the organization’s customer portal, and adding a series of intuitive UX design features. By integrating this new digital experience with revamped navigation and features designed for strategic audience personas, the foundation gives visitors the ability to quickly find the content most important to them, accelerating the customer journey and better positioning the brand as an organization delivering powerful reach and impact.
