Sr. Mobile Platform Engineer

R2integrated is seeking a Sr. Mobile Platform Engineer to join our growing mobile marketing team in Baltimore, MD.

The ideal candidate will be an integral member of the engineering team responsible for developing innovative mobile solutions and collaborating with technical, creative and business teams in a fast-paced, customer service-driven environment. The Sr. Mobile Platform Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of enterprise mobile applications for iPhone, Android OS, BlackBerry as well as the tablet marketplace. The Sr. Mobile Engineer will own the full life cycle of product development and work with internal business teams and project management to define requirements and develop technical specifications. S/he will have a passion for quality and will naturally architect, re-factor code and design for optimal maintainability, extensibility and re-usability. The candidate must have the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment, display good communication skills, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Direct professional experience with the following operating systems: iOS, Blackberry, J2ME, or Android required
• Published at least one native application in the Android Market, Apple Store, or Blackberry App World
• 3-5 years professional programming in an object oriented language such as: Java, C#, Ruby, or C++
• 2+ years work experience as a software engineer on a mobile platform
• Use of Test-Driven development methodologies with strong understanding of OOD and OOP
• Strong technical and design skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Understanding of XML/JSON based RESTful APIs
• Enjoys individual accountability as well as teamwork toward common goals
• Ability to participate in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
• Masters degree preferred in Computer Science or similar technical degree or equivalent experience
