TOOL TIME: Black and Decker, R2i, and The Launch of VPX
R2i recently had the opportunity to apply the micro-site marketing concept with the launch of a new product line from Black and Decker, VPX. VPX is a unique power system with an interchangeable power source. The main goal of the VPX micro-site was education of engaged audiences on its specific features and capabilities. The VPX micro-site became a hub for all marketing efforts including landing pages, online ads and organic search engine optimization. The VPX web address (www.vpxsystem.com) has been injection-molded right onto the actual product showing the staying power of these types of marketing tools.
The design created by R2i was so well received portions of the micro-site are now being used on Black and Decker’s main corporate site.
