R2i to Release Its NukeDK Product for SharePoint, Code Named 'Bock'

BALTIMORE, Aug. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital marketing and technology firm R2i.ntegrated (R2i), announced today it will extend NukeDK, a rapid database developer product, to SharePoint and the Microsoft .NET framework. NukeDK, with over 1000 users internationally, currently works with DotNetNuke http://www.dotnetnuke.com/, the largest Microsoft based open source project in the world as a framework for enterprise level web applications.

NukeDK is an AJAX application toolkit that empowers users to build advanced data interfaces, business portal solutions, and social media websites. R2i utilizes the platform for creating client digital media properties but also licenses the tool to developers internationally. Not a 'form builder' in the traditional sense, NukeDK is an industrial strength tool that allows developers to build simple and complex forms and modules with less code and no compilation footprint. The November release will also have expanded capabilities in development of social media properties and digital marketing tools such as widgets.

R2i is a next-generation communications firm that helps clients create digital solutions that help them reach their customers in an evolving web environment. The company is the result of a spring 2007 merger between Bi4ce, a database-driven software products & services firm and Round2Communications, a web design and branding firm.

"NukeDK lets professional users build applications directly on their websites," says Chris Chodnicki, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at R2i. "The introduction of NukeDK to Sharepoint developers exposes us to a whole new market. NukeDK developers and our organization have used this tool to build thousands of applications rapidly and reliably. We are excited to make this available to the SharePoint community."

NukeDK enables users to integrate multiple layers of data sources. For example, a Sharepoint user may want to introduce financial data, but may not have the necessary plug-in. With NukeDK, they can quickly and easily build one and introduce their data in real time. Put simply, it allows for greater flexibility when creating a variety of web-based data applications.

"NukeDK allows standard users with basic to advanced technical knowledge to build data integration systems without the traditional developer methods and cost," says Kevin Schreiner, Chief Software Architect at R2i. "This tool has allowed us to quickly build prototypes against very complex systems in less time with greater ROI for our customers,"

Paul Deschenes, CEO of Advologix http://www.advologix.com/, had this to say about NukeDK:

"NukeDK is at the heart of our development strategy and support for SharePoint opens up new deployment options for us. Our ability to rapidly and reliably deliver robust Legal Practice Management with AdvologixPM is due in large part to the comprehensive data integration and flexible development capabilities of NukeDK."
