Web standards makes it more easy to collaborate

As technical director of digital marketing here at R2i, I am often the bridge betwen technology and design within the digital marketing wing of the company.  I also get to spend time thinking about how both groups can work together smoothly. 

As everyone knows, sometimes projects come in on a tight schedule and some parts of development and design inevitably run in parallel.  Recently, I gave a talk about the benefits of using web standards (more about it here, and here) and how standards lend themself as a basis for better coloboration between these two groups.
