Hello guys, I know this is a slightly old addition but no matter. A couple search services are better for certain file extensions than others. A good one that I found for pdfs and ebooks is http://www.pdfpick.com/ It’s good because it has an adless interace, loads super speedily, and is cleanly designed. Thanks for the post!

Just curious, what is your opinion for the future of the search industry? I am experiencing a few difficult problems in my company, nevertheless always curious to listen to other ideas.

Thanks for the comment! I think the future of search will stem from having the ability to look at web properties holistically. Search will include focusing on UX/IA, brand/product/service awareness, social, meta data, content, a deep understanding of what your client is trying to accomplish and a deeper understanding of your client’s universe….online and off. Gone are the days where you can just “SEO” a site by a few structural and content tweaks with a side of link building. That formula will no longer exist.
